YACReader might be able to do all this right out of the box and without the need for extra scripts, it's design is also more modern and appealing than CR's but since I already had my library integrated into CR, I spent very little time exploring YACReader's features to be honest. Check the sub-reddit's sticky post, you'll find everything you need there. To achieve this in CR you'll need python plugins made by the community, this is where I think CR is better, it's versatility, and since it is around for quite some time, the plugins are mature enough to safely implement them into your workflow without many problems. I find it more enjoyable to read on my tablet (right now i'm experimenting with Ubooquity and Kuboo for android), so I use it mainly for management (scrape info from ComicVine, move files to appropriate folders, convert to cbz and update the metadata file, etc.). I suggest that you give each one a try and see which one you like best, they both have their pros and cons. I personally use ComicRack (CR) so that would be my answer, however you might need the program for different reasons.
